My name is Cara and in less than a week, I'll be a full-time student at the University of North Alabama. I like canoeing, riding my bike, painting, reading, making music, and as you will quickly find out, writing. I think mangoes are fantastic. I WILL be a photo journalist for National Geographic, and, no, you cannot stop me. I'm probably the only person you'll ever know that can play a piccolo with the mouthpiece turned upside down, while eating a sucker. I'm the only girl on the planet that has not seen The Notebook, and I've been informed on numerous occasions that this is a terrible thing; if you try to get me to sit down and watch it, I'll probably run away. =]
In a matter of days, I'll start a brand new chapter in my book. I call it, "The Introduction to Independence." Now that I mention it, I've already cracked the weary spine of my book and started writing again. Of course, by my "book," I mean life, and by "writing," I mean learning. Ironically enough, I never stop learning, and I never really stop writing, either. Nifty. Before I start losing myself in my own metaphors, let's move on.
Enough with the bullshit. Facebook is merely an outlet when I feel understimulated, but I needed a place to emit all of my thoughts and ideas to the people I love the most (yes, that means YOU), and I felt this was a relatively legit place to do so.
As much as I'd like to waste more time on here (really, I would), I'd rather watch the Olympics. And by "Olympics", I mean the "Men's 200 Meter Butterfly".
...and by "Men's 200 Meter Butterfly", I mean "Michael Phelps in a wetsuit..."
Yes, I am a terrible person.
